The first snow has fallen just to remind us that winter is indeed on its way..If you walked into Footloose today, you would swear winter has arrived! We have about 80% of our winter merchandise in, ski repair is up and running and the rental shop is getting ready. Next weekend, we welcome the junior kids on the local race teams for pro and race deals and our seasonal leases start on November 1st..

The weather has been unstable this past week-we’ve had a bit of very welcome rain which did really good things for mountain biking. The trend is supposed to continue through the weekend bringing cool temperatures and the possibility of (dare I say it) snow in the higher elevations…amounts have been rumored to be anywhere from 6-12 inches and on Saturday the snow level may come down to 6000 feet. For those in denial and not quite able to get their heads around the inevitablilty of winter, the follwing week is suposed to warm up considerably. Speaking of winter, we have a majority of our winter gear in stock; skis, boots, clothing and accessories. Come check it out..there’s bound to be something you can’t live without!
