I have a new pair of Diablo Flames. I have a little bit of heel lift. Is it better to hold the heel “down”, or shim the heel “up” ?

What do you think of boot sole canting ? Or should it be done under the binding ? I am full cant on the boot cuff and it doesn’t appear to be enough.
