Cornice Bowl opened today with great coverage on the groomed areas- our advice is stick to the groomed runs and don’t venture out too far- the last storm was fairly light so coverage can be deceiving.
Howard is predicting ‘6 feet of wind” and a few inches for the weekend- good news is- super cold temps for snow making and a storm of a foot or more for Thanksgiving Day. That should mean Canyon and more lifts will open for the holiday..
Just drove up and checked out the mountain- coverage looks good with a 2-3 foot base- We are being told Chairs 1,3,6,11 and the Lower Gondola will be running- we will update you after we have skied in the morning

Overnight it seems winter has shown up with cold temperatures- great for snowmaking- and then natural cold dry snow- unusual for this time of year when we generally get our sierra cement! The Mtn will open for the season in pretty good shape on Thursday with more snow predicted for the weekend- we think it would be defintely worthwhile coming up with the coverage.
