Light weight, versatile, and maneuverable. Built using carbon fiber “I-Beam” technology, along with a vertical sidewall construction, the Fischer Watea 84 is the perfect mid-fat ski for many. The All-Mtn. Recreationalist will love the maneuverability, while the Advanced/Expert will appreciate the versatility it will deliver no matter the conditions Mammoth Mtn. has to offer. Trees to steeps to bumps to groomers, the Watea 84 will feel comfortable in all but the most extreme of situations.

Because of its’ light weight, the Watea 84 does seems to have a top-end in both turn length, and snow condition. This ski prefers quicker radius turns on average snow conditions….which is perfect for the majority of our skiers!
Fischer as a company has been quietly flying under the radar for the past couple seasons, preferring to let their simple yet effective product do the talking for them. Shops in the know see the attributes a line like Fischer brings to the Mammoth marketplace; an affordable, well-made product that just works, for a lot of different skiers. Anyone interested in a “1 Ski” quiver, should seriously consider the Fischer Watea 84.

Footloose Ski Guys:

Doug-“…very enjoyable…reminds me of Boston in fall…”
Randy-“…almost too good…is that possible?”
