Footloose Sports has been Mammoth Lakes’ trusted shop for expert boot fitting and custom orthotics like Superfeet and Downunders for over 40 years. We specialize in diagnosing and solving boot pain and performance issues for long-lasting comfort.

How Ski Boot Fitting & Repair Appointments Work

All adjustments and issues are diagnosed by a professional boot fitter before any work begins. We offer custom footbeds (Superfeet), custom liners (Zipfit, Atomic foam), race modifications, basic fitting and repairs, and the largest inventory of boot parts and accessories in town.

Walk-Ins Welcome:
If you are interested in our “Try Before You Buy” demo boot program or would like to purchase new boots, no appointment is needed. We also always accept walk-ins for custom footbed purchases, custom liner or boot heater installations. We will help you as quickly as possible. If you would like to avoid lengthy wait times, especially during busy weekends and holidays, we encourage you to make an appointment.

We encourage appointments, especially during busy weekends and holiday periods, to save you from waiting in line. Appointments guarantee time with a professional fitter who will work with your specific needs. Available daily, from morning until afternoon, or until fully booked.
